The District of Tofino is transforming an existing council chamber into an inclusive office space with six offices, a conference room, and an accessible washroom. The primary aim is to enhance accessibility, so two new ramps will be installed along the North and West sides of the building. All offices and corridors will be filled with natural light and are designed to be wheelchair accessible.
